Founded in 2025, Locus Environmental continues the consulting and verification projects from Locus Technologies, inheriting an extensive legacy of solving complex environmental problems since 1997. For nearly 30 years, Locus Technologies has been recognized as a leader in groundbreaking software products but also offered strategic consulting and verification services with expert accredited professionals.  Our history is rich and includes many firsts, from pioneering innovative approaches for automating environmental remediation projects, to spearheading unprecedented approaches to evaluating the vapor intrusion pathway and being one of the first accredited greenhouse verification bodies under US state regulations. We are widely recognized innovators in the industry and focus on problems that require unique expertise and knowledge. Now that team and legacy continue under a new name: Locus Environmental and working in parallel with Locus Technologies.

Locus is an award-winning firm and recognized industry leader in environmental engineering and sustainability services, providing specialty investigations, highly experienced remediation/restoration, technical oversight, and hazardous materials management services typically not available at many generic environmental service firms. Starting in 2010, Locus gained accreditation as a verification body under the California AB32 greenhouse gas reporting regulation and has continued to grow that expertise into other states where greenhouse gas and low carbon fuel standard regulations have been adopted.
